If I Only Had a Brain

I'm not the first to use the "If I Only Had a Brain" line on Jellyfish... but gosh, it just works so well, and I had to make my own interpretation out of it for Jolly.

Yes, fascinatingly enough, Jellyfish do NOT have a brain, nor a heart. Something else that adds to the amazement from these creatures, the Turritopsis nutricula has the ability to revert back to it's Polyp stage after maturity. I wouldn't say I "like" Jellyfish, because they are dangerous and rather creepy (except for Jolly, I love that little guy. He wouldn't *intentionally* hurt a fly.)... but at the same time, I'm completely intrigued by them. They are beautiful, complex, mysterious, and amazing. There's something otherworldly about them.

This should have been uploaded ages ago (and by ages, I mean October of 2010) But the file sat on my computer for a while, incomplete. And then moved to a disc, still incomplete... And then I finally put my foot down, "Self, it's cruel to keep Jolly stuck on a disc... why, who knows what that could do to his spirit! The poor dear... You should be ashamed of yourself." Okay, that talk to myself might have been somewhat exaggerated... it actually went more like "I really need to finish that drawing, it's been way too long." Meh.
